Did you see the recent Wall Street Journal article about how Americans are snacking less? The catchy headline is that weight loss drugs like Ozempic are part of the reason, which I’m not sold on. But I do think we’re becoming more educated as a society and using our dollars to vote for healthier options. And? We’re focusing on whole foods rather than packaged ones — which, yes please!
A few of my favorite real food snacks include:
apple + peanut butter or string cheese
cottage cheese or Greek yogurt + blueberries
olives + macadamia nuts
hard boiled eggs
turkey roll-ups with cucumber & hummus
Ella’s Flats with a dipper or smoked salmon
dark chocolate chips + almonds + pumpkin seeds
