Thanksgiving is very late this year, which I honestly hate because it condenses the official holiday season into a mere 4 weeks.

But it also gives us a bit of breathing room after Halloween.

I don’t know about you, but October was a doozy of a month for me. I’m glad to have some down time and the ability to reset + gather my thoughts again.

With those thoughts come a few changes to this Substack.

As a paid subscriber, you signed up for 6-8 posts per month — including this monthly recipe email and the weekly Sunday EDIT. But, I’ve been delinquent in the other weekly posts (sharing more in depth thoughts and tips on nutrition, wellness, life).

Starting this month, you can expect me back in full force. I’ve got some fun things planned for us over the holidays too (think 12 days of giveaways and a challenge to keep us feeling our best).

I’m truly honored that you support my work, value my opinions + knowledge, and want to be part of this community. Thank you ❤️

As a free subscriber, you’ll receive my Sunday EDIT emails + unlimited article previews so you can get a sense of what this space is about + get to know me better.

This platform let’s me share creatively, freely and with context + depth. Something I’ve been craving a lot more of lately as I’ve found Instagram feeling forced with very little value add.

So get ready — I’ve got lots in store for you. Showing up even more authentically. Sharing my voice, my work, my expertise, and inviting you into my world not just as a nutritionist but as a mother, wife, and woman seeking the art of nourishment in her everyday life.

November Recipes

Okay, so technically some of these would also work really well on your Thanksgiving table — like the charred cabbage with cashew cream and miso tahini sweet potatoes. While others are great for resetting a bit — like the healing green chicken soup.

My thought process when curating this list was to give you easy, everyday, nourishing dishes that also feel festive.

Enjoy! xx
